NO WAY THROUGH
Directed by | Alexandra Monro
Genre fiction | Length: 7mins | Year of production: 2009
No Way Through brings the reality of life under military occupation uncomfortably close to home. The city of London is subjected to military rule. To get to school, go to work, visit friends or reach a hospital, it is necessary to navigate a matrix of checkpoints and soldiers. Winner of 2009s Ctrl+Alt+Shift Film Competition, No Way Through is activist cinema at its best. It addresses universal issues of injustice by bringing the specifics of the occupation of Palestine into a world that could be all of ours.
